Hopefully this blog will turn into a nice mix of updates on my life and fun reminiscences. In the past, I have made countless resolutions to write in my journal more often in an attempt to record my own personal history, to make myself think more deeply about the things around me, and to record past memories. Hopefully, I’ll have more success meeting those goals here. And now, considering this public format, I will have to add a fourth goal: to be entertaining. All comments are welcome!

She is very snuggly in a towel!
As of October 13th she is up to 9 pounds 4 ounces. Yipee! She's a "tank" :)! She is not real happy at the moment because she got her immunizations today. Thank goodness for tylenol! It is so fun that she is starting to smile and coo. Being a Mom is the best! I must also put in a plug for what an awesome dad Ian is. She smiles for him more and he can often calm her down better than I can. Daily "Daddy Gracie" time is her favorite. I am so grateful Ian is so helpful and involved. He's a lifesaver.
